Is Tom Still After Jerry?

Since our childhood we all are watching Tom chasing Jerry in “Tom and Jerry” and Jerry always appeared to be the most annoying one for Tom. Usually people refer dimwitted people to Tom for being so dumb.

Not only in “Tom and Jerry”, every tale that has a cat and a mice always have a story that cat hunts the mice, but in today’s society the situation is not the same, may be cats nowadays, are more interested in junk food like us humans, and not in their so called traditional loved food mice’s.

Few days back I saw a domestic rat in my parking area, and thought the cat sitting near would definitely catch that mice, but it didn't happened the cat saw that mice and sat back to its place, I thought maybe she is not hungry right now or the mice is not good enough for her appetite, but the same thing happened another day, now that was interesting because same thing cannot happen every time a cat saw a mice. It seems that animals are also addicted to junk food like humans, their taste have changed they love to eat burgers, chicken wings, and pizzas but not mices.

Another reason could be, as our society is becoming multicultural and we all love that diversity in our society, so is the case with animals as well, we can say multicultural society of animals, not only human culture is diversified globally but animals are also enjoying that diversity. We can see dogs playing with cats and cats playing with rats and that’s a positive attitude of animals, at least they are not outraged like our society.

No matter whether cats become friends with mice’s or not, but no doubt Tom and Jerry tale will always remain epic.
